Keep Smilin’
I never know what to expect when I go to work. First things, someone doesn’t know how to follow standards for sticking and messed up all the CDs and DVDs. Frustrating start to my day that’s for sure. Stupid seasonal hires, I know I wasn’t one ;)
While on cash, I had one customer, an older gentleman that was not interested in any promotions or loyalty cards. Totally cool, he seemed kinda grumpy, but it was just probably because the line-up was long and he seemed sleepy.
Regardless, when I finished ringing him up, he turned to me and said, “you keep on smiling, you have a great smile.”
Awww. That feeling was awesome! and unexpected.
It’s a great feeling knowing that people in the world still have a heart and care about strangers. Yes indeedy, I love my job.
